Photo Guidance
You will need to provide three photographs of yourself and these should meet the following standards:

• taken against a light (white) background so that the applicant’s features are distinguishable and contrast against the background

• 45mm by 35 mm – size

• full face uncovered and without sunglasses and, unless the applicant wears a head covering due to religious beliefs, without a head covering.

• on photographic paper

• one photograph to be endorsed by either the chief executive of the licensing justices, a solicitor or notary, a person of standing in the community (a bank or building society official, a police officer, a civil servant or a minister of religion) or an individual with a professional qualification.

• Suggested wording for the reverse of the photograph is as follows:
